Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC seeks a DCIM Engineer II to manage Electric Power Monitoring Systems and Building Management Systems across QTS data centers. You will administer EPMS/BMS, support DCIM configurations for deployments, and coordinate field work with contractors onsite.

The role requires a technology background, strong analytical skills, and the ability to think strategically to align with business goals. Occasional travel and a US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience with critical monitoring and control systems and support for critical facilities.
• Working knowledge of a BMS and building EPMS systems.
• Familiarity with central chilled water plant systems, CRAH units and facility operations.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and must be a US citizen due to federal contracts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure DCIM systems operate as designed to protect the data center and provide alarms, notifications and reports.
• Configure DCIM system applications for new deployments and data requirements.
• Prepare and maintain DCIM documentation, test plans and change records.
• Administer power provisioning, incident management and reporting processes for sites.
• Coordinate field work and supervise contractors as needed.
• Perform inspections and assist in testing and commissioning of facility systems.
