Job summary

Accion seeks a Workplace Operations Specialist to lead the DC office operations, partner with People & Culture, Communications, and Global Ops, and ensure a safe, connected workplace. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and supports executive-level scheduling and travel.

The position is based in Washington, DC with a hybrid schedule (in-office Monday–Thursday; optional remote Fridays). Occasional travel and global collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Experience planning and executing projects and events end-to-end.
• Vendor management, contracts, and budget experience.
• Experience supporting operations across multiple offices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Washington, DC office operations ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
• Serve as primary contact for building management and facilities vendors; manage invoices and renewals.
• Coordinate office supplies, shipping, and security access; manage reservations and calendars.
• Lead DC office and org-wide events with budget and timeline oversight.
• Provide executive administrative support to the COO and assist leadership meetings.
