Job summary

Home Depot in California is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence the distribution center to operate safely and productively. You will hire, evaluate, develop, discipline, and terminate hourly staff, with supervision of 20 to 30 associates.

You will focus on following processes, coaching staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and planning staffing to meet production goals. The role requires flexibility across shifts and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree; experience with Warehouse Management Systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Managing Process: ensures operations procedures are followed and identifies changes to improve efficiency.
• Coaching and Developing Associates: trains, evaluates, and provides feedback to hourly associates.
• Drives Results: maintains inventory accuracy and key performance metrics.
• Business Planning: coordinates operations to align with business plan and staffing needs.
• Additional Responsibilities: other duties as assigned by Operations leadership.
