Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an experienced DC Area Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team of Distribution Center Associates in safe, productive shipping/receiving.

The role focuses on ensuring merchandise is received, stored, packed and shipped efficiently to get products to stores on time, while upholding Burlington's policies and core values. Shift: Mon-Thu 4:30pm–2:30am; requires strong leadership, data analysis, and ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related)
• 3+ years' experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment
• Management/leadership experience in a distribution center
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Warehouse Management Systems preferred
• Able to read and interpret policies/procedures to operate systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a team of Distribution Center Associates
• Ensure merchandise is received, stored, packed and shipped safely and efficiently
• Drive performance through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration
• Provide coaching and development feedback to the team and ensure training/compliance
• Leverage warehouse management systems and reporting tools to drive results
