Job summary

SanMar Corp. in Ashland, VA is seeking a Shift Manager for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10pm–6:30am) to lead daily distribution center operations and staff. You will drive performance, safety, and service while aligning with strategic objectives and Lean practices.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse. A sign-on bonus is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years experience building and maintaining cross-functional relationships.
• 1-3 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer experience through coordination of DC processes and operations.
• Monitor movement of product, labor planning and balancing.
• Oversee shipping from the DC to proper transportation channels.
• Perform annual performance reviews and provide day-to-day guidance to line management.
• Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency.
