Job summary

SanMar in Ashland, VA is seeking a Warehouse Associate III to unload/load trailers, operate powered lift equipment, and move product while maintaining safety and accuracy. You will use RF scanning and High Jump to track shipments and support inventory audits throughout the distribution center.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in a warehouse, 1–3 years forklift experience, and OSHA lift certification. Overtime may be required; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 4–6 years in a warehouse environment; loading/unloading trailers.
• 1–3 years forklift or heavy equipment experience.
• OSHA lift operator certification compliance.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load incoming and outgoing trailers, operate powered lift equipment to move product.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and staging for delivery.
• Generate reports to support error resolution in receiving and inventory processes.
• Support distribution center functions including invoicing and tagging shipments.
• Inspect equipment daily and maintain a safe warehouse environment.
