SanMar- External is seeking a DC Supervisor to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations in Ashland, VA. The role involves coordinating daily activities, mentoring hourly staff, and driving productivity across receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.

The supervisor will conduct performance reviews, participate in hiring, and collaborate with other departments to optimize processes while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience leading warehouse teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify daily activities to meet productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and knowledge goals.
• Oversee all DC operations to ensure accurate and timely processing and delivery of products.
• Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and development to hourly staff.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and give feedback.
• Interview and hire new employees.
• Collaborate across departments to drive productivity and efficiency.
• Analyze trends to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
