Job summary

SanMar is hiring for a Warehouse Associate III in Ashland, VA. You will unload/load trailers, move product with powered equipment and use an RF unit to track items. Strong attention to safety and detail is required.

Responsibilities include processing orders, supporting inventory and invoicing, and maintaining a clean, compliant distribution center environment with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years experience in a warehouse environment; loading and unloading trailers.
• 1-3 years experience operating a forklift or heavy equipment.
• Demonstrates ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load incoming and outgoing trailers, operating powered lift equipment to move product and materials as needed.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Generate reports to support error resolution in the receiving process.
• Support other DC functions including error resolution, inventory audits, customer service, and invoicing.
