Job summary

GPC Distribution Center seeks a Process Coordinator in Manheim, PA to drive daily performance and standardize operations. You will influence peers, coordinate shift startup meetings, and guide workflow to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency across receiving, picking, packing, put wall, and shipping.

No direct reports; you will lead through influence, support root-cause investigations, and partner with operations to implement continuous improvements while ensuring accountability and customer

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics environment.
• Fostering collaboration and directing teams amidst demanding operational challenges.
• Strong understanding of DC processes and performance metrics (UPH, pick accuracy, OIR, service levels).
• Effective communicator with organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and drive process improvements.
• Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology.
• Ability to work variable shifts and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Influence & communication: Communicate daily priorities and performance updates to the team.
• Coordinate shift startup meetings to align safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Act as a floor monitor, maintaining flow between receiving, picking, packing, put wall, and shipping.
• Support onboarding and cross-training of associates and ensure standard work.
• Provide real-time guidance to reinforce safe, efficient, high-quality work.
• Observe SOPs and ensure supplies are staged for daily activities.
• Identify bottlenecks and address issues in real time; drive continuous improvements.
• Analyze root cause investigations for safety incidents, quality misses using structured methods.
• Track daily performance metrics (UPH, accuracy, service %, cost per unit).
• Standardize processes across shifts and departments; promote accountability.
