Job summary

GPC seeks a Distribution Center Process Coordinator to drive daily performance and standardization across the DC. This role guides peers, coordinates daily operations, and supports safety, quality, and efficiency with influence rather than direct reports.

The coordinator steers shift startup meetings, workflow, and root cause investigations, demonstrating agility to maintain consistent operations throughout the DC.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics environment.
• Experience with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology.
• Strong understanding of DC processes and performance metrics (UPH, pick accuracy, OIR, service levels).
• Effective communicator with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Influence daily priorities, workload changes, and performance updates to ensure team alignment.
• Coordinate shift startup meetings to align teams on safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Act as floor monitor to maintain consistent flow between receiving, picking, packing, put wall, and shipping.
• Support onboarding and cross-training of associates and ensure standard work is followed.
• Provide real-time guidance to reinforce safe, efficient, and high-quality work practices.
• Analyze root cause investigations for safety incidents, service errors or quality misses using structured methods.
• Partner with operations leadership to implement continuous improvements and enhance DC performance.
