Job summary

GPC is seeking a Site Security Coordinator to maintain safety, security, and controlled access at a modern distribution center in Pennsylvania. You will serve as the primary on-site security presence, protecting team members, inventory, and automated systems while following corporate Asset Protection policies.

You will manage access controls, monitor alarms, review badge holders, and coordinate with Operations for secure dock and gate operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of security or related experience preferred.
• Experience in warehouse or distribution environments preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforce site security protocols and access control.
• Oversee emergency alarm monitoring and response.
• Audit badge holders against roster and contractor lists.
• Monitor entry points, validate visitor IDs, and conduct bag checks.
• Respond to incidents and prepare detailed reports.
• Coordinate with operations for dock and freight security.
