Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics environment.
• Ability to influence peers and lead without direct reports.
• Strong understanding of DC processes and metrics (UPH, accuracy, service levels).
• Experience with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily priorities, workload changes, and performance updates to keep the team informed and aligned.
• Coordinate shift startup meetings to align teams on safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Act as a floor monitor to coordinate activities and maintain flow between receiving, picking, packing, put wall, and shipping.
• Support onboarding and cross-training of associates, ensuring consistent adherence to standard work.
• Provide real-time guidance and feedback to reinforce safe, efficient, and high-quality work practices.
• Observe and ensure adherence to SOPs and best practices across all areas.
• Identify and address bottlenecks or quality concerns in real time and support continuous improvements.
• Track and communicate daily performance metrics (UPH, accuracy, service levels, cost per unit).
• Model safety, quality, and performance; support continuous improvement activities.
