Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a key leader to direct the day-to-day outbound operations of the order processing department in our distribution center. The role focuses on supervising the entire department, ensuring policy compliance, and guiding staffing and budgeting efforts.

Responsibilities include leading the team, coordinating with operations and DC managers on payroll and productivity, and delivering timely evaluations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to multitask and work well in a team.
• Excellent leadership with a focus on customer service.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read/match numbers and letters quickly.
• College degree or logistics certification is preferred.
• 2+ years in a supervisor role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the order processing department.
• Direct day-to-day outbound operations within a distribution center.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures daily.
• Collaborate with operations managers and DC managers on payroll, budgeting, and productivity.
• Deliver timely employee evaluations and provide leadership and guidance.
• Support planning for annual goals and budgeting processes.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training practices.
• Participate in budgeting and capital expenditure planning.
• Ensure safety standards and address unsafe practices.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
