Job summary

Grainger in Fountain Inn, SC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor/Manager to lead a multi-shift team responsible for order fulfillment and resource optimization. You will ensure accurate receipt of product, efficient workflows and safe, compliant operations under Grainger policies.

You will coach team members, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while partnering with the Warehouse Manager to meet key metrics and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years leadership or supervisory experience in high-volume, multi-shift warehouse.
• Ability to frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 pounds.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, SAP and warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multi-shift operation with extended hours; 85% in warehouse, 15% in office/training/customer contact.
• Manage daily scheduling, staffing, material management, compliance, training and auditing activities.
• Provide coaching, feedback and development to team members, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Promote a positive and engaging work environment focused on key metrics.
• Identify important variables across the workflow and implement enhancements.
• Develop performance measurements and internal auditing processes to evaluate efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA and Grainger policies for HazMat and PIE.
