Job summary

Core & Main seeks a hands-on Distribution Center Manager to lead a small-volume DC, drive financial and operational performance, manage inventory and vendors, and mentor staff. The role requires operating a company or personal vehicle for a significant portion of the week and adherence to MVR checks.

You will analyze reports, set expectations, and coach teams to meet service and safety goals while supporting company initiatives across sales, accounting, safety, HR, and legal compliance.

Qualifications

• Inventory management and purchasing experience.
• 5+ years of Distribution Center operations experience.
• Experience maintaining processes and procedures.
• An understanding of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation of a small volume distribution center and manage DC planning.
• Provide input and feedback to the Regional Operations Manager on performance and results.
• Oversee financial management, operations, distribution, inventory and vendor relations.
• Manage fleet, safety, compliance, and leadership responsibilities.
