Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking a DC Operations Manager to oversee transportation and warehouse activities, leading shifts and drivers while partnering with the General Manager to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.

You will drive continuous improvement in the distribution center, coach staff, implement SOPs, and ensure operational excellence across daily tasks and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High School or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years related experience including 2-3 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to quality standards, health and safety, legal compliance, environmental policies, SOP deliverables, and duty of care.
• Lead and train team; recruit, mentor, develop.
• Investigate employee relations or performance concerns; disciplinary actions with HR.
• Lead daily DC huddles; ensure clarity of tasks and drive engagement.
• Onboard/train team members; coach, motivate, and manage performance.
• Provide leadership for warehouse and/or delivery associates across shifts.
• Support the DC General Manager and daily operations.
