Job summary

Pixelle Specialty Solutions is hiring for a Distribution Center Supervisor/Manager to lead daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise hourly material handlers, coordinate staffing, and ensure safety, shipping accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, adherence to DOT regs, inventory control, and collaboration with Logistics and Supply Chain leadership to meet shipping and financial objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Admin, or related field; 6–8 years of logistics/warehouse experience.
• Experience leading hourly union workforce and managing staffing/scheduling.
• Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the distribution center.
• Lead safety trainings, weekly safety discussions, and incident investigations with corrective actions.
• Supervise daily activities of hourly material handlers and coordinate staffing to meet workload.
• Ensure shipments meet customer requirements and quality standards; investigate complaints and root causes.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, quarterly counts, and coordination with audits; manage procurement as needed.
