Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Georgia seeks an experienced Distribution Center Operations Manager to oversee a large, complex warehouse operation. You will manage receiving, storing, picking, packing, and loading of customer orders while driving efficiency and safety.

The role requires leading managers and supervisors, coordinating with sales, and ensuring excellent service. You will contribute to budget stewardship and policy execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years management experience with demonstrated abilities leading and developing subordinates and engaging/supporting warehouse team members.
• Or High School diploma or equivalent and at least 7 years management experience with demonstrated abilities leading and developing subordinates and engaging/supporting warehouse team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation including receiving, storing, picking, packing and loading of all customer orders; establish procedures for verification and disposition of shipments; keep warehouse inventory current.
• Lead and measure daily processes to ensure on-time order fulfillment and production.
• Support local sales teams, respond to service failures and customer concerns, and assist in resolving complaints.
• Support HR processes locally: sourcing staff, performance management, compensation administration, training and development, and maintaining positive employee relations.
• Ensure safe practices, conduct safety meetings, housekeeping, records, and OSHA compliance.
• Manage exempt and non-exempt staff; monitor expenses and preserve assets for DC operations.
• Communicate effectively in groups and individuals; demonstrate leadership and provide clear guidelines for staff.
