Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group company, seeks high-potential leaders for its Operations Manager Development Program. You will rotate through Warehouse, Transportation, and Facility Operations to learn our supply chain model and prepare for nationwide leadership roles in distribution centers.

This program emphasizes hands-on experience, coaching, and readiness for placement as an Operations Manager/Director within six to twelve months, focusing on safety, profitability, and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret business reports, journals, procedures, and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to present to senior leaders.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills in fast-paced operations environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee distribution center operations across Warehouse, Transportation, and Facility Operations.
• Assess staffing and equipment needs to optimize performance and resource use.
• Manage labor, operating expenses, productivity, and service metrics to meet targets and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, food safety, and regulatory requirements; foster safety culture.
• Recruit, coach, and develop warehouse and transportation teams; collaborate across OpCo leadership.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to support operational excellence and customer service.
