Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking an DC Operations Manager to lead multiple functional areas within the Solon distribution center, guiding a team of Area Managers and their hourly workforce toward operational excellence. You will shape strategy, mentor leaders, ensure safety and quality, and meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience with at least 2 years management.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives and owning performance metrics.
• Experience using a warehouse management system (WMS) – preferably SAP, as well as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Apply your expertise to support, mentor, and motivate your salaried leaders and broader workforce.
• Lead department-wide efforts in safety, quality, and productivity to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate proficiency in talent management by evaluating performance, completing employee reviews, and building leadership bench strength.
• Collaborate with peer leaders, support functions, and senior leadership to develop plans and navigate barriers to achieve business objectives.
• Utilize knowledge and expertise to define roles, priorities, and success criteria for your salaried leaders and their teams.
• Continuously monitor and optimize department performance for efficiency using key performance indicators.
