American Tire Distributors Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center General Manager to oversee all operational and administrative aspects of the DC, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.

This role coaches teams to implement supply chain strategies and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will lead drivers and warehouse staff, develop talent, and manage inventories and returns while maintaining OSHA, DOT, and ADA compliance in a fast-paced distribution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years of related experience including management.
• Experience overseeing distribution center operations, safety, quality, and delivery.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular meetings with staff to address operational issues and inspire continuous improvement.
• Lead and coach DC staff to own performance and grow within the company.
• Develop and distribute quarterly DC performance reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure OSHA/DOT/ADA compliance and safe operating practices.
• Lead drivers and warehouse staff to achieve on-time deliveries and high service levels.
• Optimize DC cost productivity and manage labor and delivery costs.
• Oversee inventory control and timely processing of returns and credits.
