Job summary

Dealer Tire is seeking a Distribution Center Manager – Tier 1 in the United States. The role leads daily DC operations, safety programs, staffing, and budget adherence to ensure on-time deliveries and high customer satisfaction.

You will supervise a team, develop leaders, and optimize inventory and processes across the distribution center. The position requires 8+ years in supply chain, 6+ years of leadership, and strong proficiency with WMS/TMS/ERP systems, budgeting, and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field, or commensurate experience.
• 8+ years of supply chain experience, including distribution center, inventory and transportation experience.
• 6+ years of experience leading a team.
• Proficiency with planning, staffing and budgeting.
• Proven leadership skills, coaching and developing leaders & employees.
• Strong process improvement mindset focusing on continuous growth.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with WMS, TMS and ERP systems.
• Ability to evaluate overall operations and develop short- and long-term goals to meet organizational objectives.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to drive results.
• Thorough knowledge of P&L.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with frontline employees, peers, and executives

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs and training; enforce safety procedures.
• Develop leadership development plans for team leads and managers.
• Coach and develop associates; assess performance and take action.
• Create staffing strategies to meet workflow and budget targets.
• Direct daily operations including scheduling, productivity, and quality.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of items from vendors.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and proper organization.
• Develop recommendations for annual budget and manage DC budget.
• Ensure timely records and reports for DC activity.
• Travel 5–15% as required; ensure safety and DOT/compliance where applicable.
