Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a distribution center, including 3+ years of management.
• BS/BA in a related discipline; certification may be required.
• Advanced degree may offset less experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides departmental input to DC Manager for operating plans for warehouse and transportation operations in support of organizational goals.
• Develops department operating budgets and provides cost justification for spending.
• Implements process improvement actions and conducts departmental analyses on assets and labor utilization.
• Leads safety and HazMat compliance and ensures security of staff, facility, equipment and inventory.
• Manages performance of Assistant Manager and hourly staff; coaches and takes corrective action when warranted.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
