Job summary

HD Supply, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center leader to oversee daily operations and align activities with company goals.

You will provide strategic input, manage financials, and monitor performance across warehouse, transportation, and inventory processes. Responsibilities include budgeting support, process improvement, safety leadership, and supervising the DC team to maintain compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience working in a distribution center, including 3+ years of management experience.
• 7+ years of experience working in a distribution center, including 3+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation of a Distribution Center in support of company goals.
• Provide input and feedback on all operations processes and results to DC Manager.
• Responsible for providing input to DC Manager for departmental strategic and operations planning, financial management, operational reporting and communication, fleet management, departmental process improvement, compliance, and inventory management.
• Provide departmental input to DC Manager for development of operating plans for warehouse and transportation operations in support of organizational goals including facility, equipment and staff.
• Identify departmental financial resources to support operating plan and participate in development of department budgets.
• Provide process improvement recommendations and implement action plans; conduct routine departmental analysis and report results to DC Manager.
• Lead associates to be fully compliant with safety, Hazmat rules, regulations, and HR policies; ensure safety and security of personnel and inventory; report discrepancies.
• Manage performance of Assistant Manager and/or hourly associates and coach, counsel, and take corrective action when warranted.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
