Job summary

RaceTrac Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for managing the RaceTrac Distribution Center. This individual oversees and manages all Distribution Center functions including receiving product from vendors, auditing store orders, code dating product and maintaining the facility.

The Distribution Center Supervisor manages a team of Associates, Team Leads, and Auditors who are responsible for carrying out all general warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate pallet jack/forklift.
• Flexible schedule including varying start/finish times, weekends and holidays.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and supervisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic oversight to drive lower distribution costs through efficient warehouse management.
• Interviews, hires, trains, coaches and supervises DC leads, auditors, and associates.
• Leads and develops direct reports to align with warehouse goals.
• Appraises productivity and communicates performance to DC management.
• Oversees inbound/outbound inventories to ensure proper documentation and organization.
• Ensures product integrity through FEFO/FIFO and temperature checks.
• Documents and communicates vendor issues to the Distribution Center Manager.
• Acts as a point of contact for escalation and conflict resolution among hourly staff.
• Monitors warehouse performance and leads remediation or retraining as needed.
• Audits and reports inventory with recommendations to purchasing and operations.
