Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an Operations Manager for the Celina Distribution Center to lead daily warehouse operations, safety, staffing, inventory accuracy and continuous improvement. You will partner with the site leadership to execute strategies, drive performance and develop future leaders.

The role requires 5+ years in a distribution/fulfillment environment, WMS experience, and strong data-driven decision making. Expect shift flexibility to cover day, mid, or night as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a DC/fulfillment or large warehouse.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, labor planning, and performance management.
• Proven ability to develop leaders and achieve operational results.
• Experience using WMS, labor management, and operational reporting tools.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Willingness to relocate to various U.S. locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, replenishment, inventory, order fulfillment, shipping and returns.
• Ensure operations meet customer service, quality, productivity and cost objectives.
• Drive performance through standard work, process focus and performance management.
• Monitor labor utilization and facility performance to improve efficiency.
• Develop staffing and capacity plans aligned with forecasted demand.
• Maintain an organized, audit-ready operation.
• Lead, coach and develop Department Managers and frontline leaders.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
• Support hiring, talent development and succession planning.
