Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an Operations Manager for the Frostproof Distribution Center to lead daily warehouse operations, safety, staffing, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement. You will partner with the General Manager and cross-functional teams to execute operational strategies and support growth.

The role requires shift flexibility and a track record of building high-performing teams, improving safety, and delivering measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in a Distribution Center, Fulfillment Center, or large-scale warehouse.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, labor planning and performance management.
• Experience with WMS, labor tools, and reporting platforms; able to analyze data to drive decisions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; OSHA regs and safety knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365; willingness to relocate to various U.S. locations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all facets of warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, replenishment, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and returns.
• Ensure operations meet customer service, quality, productivity and cost objectives.
• Lead, coach and develop department managers and frontline leaders.
• Foster a safety-first culture; conduct safety reviews and root-cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement using data and benchmarks; optimize labor and capacity.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Transportation, Inventory, Sales and Finance on site initiatives.
