Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Leadership experience with or without direct report responsibility.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, & planning skills.
• Experience in distribution center operations or previous warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Assign associates to specific job functions according to production needs.
• Be a 'Subject Matter Expert' (SME) on all department roles and tasks.
• Be a role model leader for others; act with integrity and respect, approach responsibility with confidence and ownership, inspire superior performance, and develop a track record of success.
• Coach, develop and train associates to facilitate duties and responsibilities; provide training & cross-training, in coordination with the DC Operations Admin & Safety Lead for new and existing employees.
• Communicate information to department associates in an appropriate manner in the absence of the DC Supervisor.
• Maintain an awareness of associates' production, quality, safety, and behavior to provide feedback to the department Supervisor.
• Maintain safe work conditions and safe work practices.
