Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an experienced DC Operations Manager in Houston to lead a 150+ team across inbound and outbound activities. You will manage budgeting, staffing, and safety controls while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency in a fast-paced distribution center.

Applicants should have 5–10 years of warehouse leadership experience, an Associate Degree or equivalent, and strong collaboration with site leadership. Bi-lingual skills are a plus in this role.

Qualifications

5–10 years of leadership in a warehouse or distribution setting.
Associate Degree or equivalent experience required.
Bi-lingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Direct responsibility for a DC Department (Inbound and/or Outbound) with 150+ team members, including budgeting and staffing.
Collaborate with GM/AGM to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
Lead start-up meetings with Department Managers to review results, workloads, schedules, and safety issues.
Coach, train, and develop management staff with on-floor and formal feedback.
Monitor safety procedures and ensure PPE usage across the facility.
Maintain strong communication with facility management and corporate partners.
