Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Distribution Center Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance department, oversee equipment and facilities, and drive continuous improvement across the DC. The role requires strong leadership, PM program oversight, and collaboration with site leadership to keep operations running smoothly.

You will mentor team leads, coordinate with maintenance teams, manage vendor bids, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced distribution center environment

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and procedures.
• Strong leadership, administrative, organizational, managerial and communication skills.
• Good analytical ability to gather and interpret information and develop, recommends, and implements solutions.
• Knowledge of and skilled in blue print and schematic reading.

Responsibilities

• Manage with the DC General Manager, Asst. General Manager, Operations Managers, and Department Managers to discuss and review workload.
• Oversee repair and maintenance of equipment; assign work orders prioritizing safety and production.
• Manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs and ensure schedule adherence to minimize downtime.
• Hire, orient, train, evaluate and develop team members; participate in disciplinary actions as needed.
