Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a high-performing team at our Distribution Center. You’ll oversee preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and testing of material handling equipment, while coordinating with outside vendors.

The focus is on safety, performance, and developing a capable team. This role requires strong leadership and excellent communication, with experience on night or weekend shifts considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-3 years in a leadership/supervisory role within operations or distribution.
• Night or weekend shift experience a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proactive mindset with safety and efficiency focus.
• Experience with building control systems, mechanical systems, conveying systems; forklifts preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Maintenance Team Members to ensure efficient operation of the DC.
• Adjust workloads in real-time to align with workflow demands.
• Foster a culture of accountability, communication, and teamwork.
• Lead team meetings to communicate shift goals and updates.
• Support Team Member onboarding, training, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Maintain compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs to maintain the facility and equipment.
