Job summary

CarParts.com seeks a DC IT Senior Manager to bridge distribution center operations and the technology that powers them. You will lead IT service teams across four DC sites, owning uptime, incident response, and continuous improvements to devices and networks used daily by frontline staff.

The role requires 5+ years in warehousing tech and 2+ years in leadership, with deep WMS, Windows Server, and networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DC Operations/warehousing tech support.
• 2+ years in people management or team lead role.
• 4+ years of experience supporting technology in a multi-DC ecommerce setup.
• 3+ years of WMS experience.
• 2+ years Windows Server administration with DHCP/DNS knowledge.
• 2+ years desktop support operations for hardware/software solutions.
• Experience supporting RF devices, mobile printers, and label printers.
• 2+ years networking (APs, switches, routers) experience.
• Experience developing process documentation and SOPs.
• Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own uptime and availability targets across all DC systems.
• Build, lead, and develop IT Service Analysts and technicians across DC sites.
• Partner with DC operations to align technology with picking/packing/shipping.
• Establish escalation protocols for incidents and after-hours coverage.
• Drive root cause analysis and post-incident reviews with engineering.
• Set standards for DC technology infrastructure and vendor management.
• Champion metrics-driven, automation-focused improvements.
• Oversee technology investment, budgeting, and capital planning.
• Maintain knowledge of SQL Server and WMS to guide troubleshooting.
