Job summary

CarParts.com is seeking a DC IT Senior Manager to bridge distribution center operations and technology. You will lead IT Service Analysts and technicians across four DC sites, ensuring high uptime, coordinating with ops leadership, and driving automation initiatives.

The role requires deep knowledge of devices, wireless networks, and WMS systems, with a bias for data-driven decisions and cross-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DC Operations/Warehousing tech support, incl. 2+ years in a lead role
• 4+ years supporting tech in an ecommerce org with multiple DCs
• Experience managing distributed teams across sites
• 3+ years of WMS system experience
• 2+ years Windows Server administration; DHCP/DNS
• 2+ years overseeing desktop support for hardware/software
• Experience supporting RF devices, mobile printers, label printers at scale
• 2+ years of network administration incl. APs, switches, routers
• Experience developing SOPs across sites
• Strong communication and leadership to senior execs
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams with minimal supervision
• Continuous improvement mindset for team dev and processes
• Ability to manage competing priorities across sites and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Own uptime and availability targets (99.9%+) across DC network systems
• Build, lead, and develop IT Service Analysts and technicians across four DC sites
• Serve as technology partner to DC operations leadership for devices, network, and apps
• Establish escalation protocols for critical incidents with 24/7 coverage
• Drive root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews; prioritize fixes with engineering
• Set and oversee standards for DC tech infra and vendor relationships
• Champion a metrics-driven, automation-focused approach to reduce incidents
• Own technology investment strategy, budgeting, contracts, and capex planning
• Maintain working knowledge of SQL Server scripting and WMS systems to guide decisions
