Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Inventory Manager to lead inventory accuracy and control across our new Maidencreek facility. The role develops policies, mentors technicians, and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure material flow and ERP data integrity.

The ideal candidate will drive cycle counts, RCCA actions, and KPI tracking while enforcing 5S and OE standards across facilities, aligning with East Penn’s operational goals and growth strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of related work experience in inventory control, materials management, warehousing, or distribution operations
• Demonstrated understanding of materials management principles, inventory control processes, supply chain workflows, distribution warehouse flow, slotting, cycle counting, reconciliation, and inventory accuracy metrics
• Proven ability to interpret and analyze ERP-based inventory data and drive corrective actions to maintain data integrity
• Experience working cross-functionally with shipping, transportation, planning, and customer service, to align inventory with operational needs
• Proficiency working in WMS platforms
• East Penn work experience that includes knowledge of EP procedures, practices and systems (Mainframe, Glovia, MSR, Somax)

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and develop Inventory Control Technicians to ensure performance and safety
• Set expectations for safety, accuracy, and timeliness; communicate goals
• Facilitate inventory-related training; establish best practices and monitor compliance
• Administer inventory policies; oversee end-to-end cycle counting and RCCA actions
• Monitor inventory accuracy and discrepancies; report and resolve issues
• Ensure location accuracy, replenishment flow, slotting, and readiness for outbound and scrap inventory
• Serve as system steward for ERP modules (Mainframe, Glovia, MSR, Somax); maintain data integrity
• Develop inventory control reports and dashboards; partner with IT to improve functionality
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align inventory with production and service levels
• Lead RCCA investigations; drive process improvements in material flow and data integrity
• Support 5S, compliance audits, and operational standards across facilities
