Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company in Blandon, PA, is seeking a Distribution Center Inventory Manager to lead inventory accuracy and control across DC operations, developing and enforcing enterprise inventory policies and mentoring staff. Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of related work experience in inventory control, materials management, warehousing, or distribution operations.
• Demonstrated understanding of materials management principles, inventory control processes, supply chain workflows, distribution warehouse flow, slotting, cycle counting, reconciliation, and inventory accuracy metrics.
• Proven ability to interpret and analyze ERP-based inventory data and drive corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
• Experience working cross-functionally with shipping, transportation, planning, and customer service, to align inventory with operational needs.
• Proficiency working in WMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory control across DC operations to ensure accuracy.
• Develop and enforce inventory policies and KPIs.
• Manage end-to-end cycle counting program, including count scheduling, physical counting, discrepancy reconciliation, and RCCA actions.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and discrepancies to determine/address issues and ensure reporting.
• Maintain accountability for inventory accuracy KPIs and analyze causes of discrepancies.
• Coordinate physical inventories and audits to verify system accuracy and compliance.
