Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Human Resource Manager for our Distribution Center to lead the HR team and partner with DC leadership. You will provide strategic guidance, oversee payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations, while driving engagement and development.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years HR management experience, and strong knowledge of employment laws. You’ll manage talent acquisition with SSC, foster a union-free environment, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years HR management experience supporting a light industrial workforce of at least 200 associates.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
• Proven leadership, administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and implement solutions.
• Experience managing HR teams and providing guidance to operational leaders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and occasional out-of-town travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR function for the DC, providing guidance to associates and leadership on all people-related matters.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, attendance tracking, and performance management.
• Drive engagement, development, and a positive, union-free work environment.
• Partner with SSC Talent Acquisition to fill hard-to-fill or senior DC positions.
• Ensure adherence to federal/state/local employment laws and company policies.
