Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager at one of our Distribution Centers in Rosenberg, TX.

You will support the HR Manager in leading the DC HR function and drive growth, development, and change while upholding our culture of teamwork and compliance. Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, weekly HR metrics, employee relations, safety compliance, payroll oversight, and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field; PHR certification is a plus.
• Experience in a distribution center or high-volume environment preferred.
• Solid knowledge of employee relations, workers’ compensation, and recruitment.
• Strong understanding of HR laws and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HR Manager in leading all HR functions in the DC.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard associates across shifts.
• Present new associate orientation programs and onboarding activities.
• Prepare and analyze weekly HR statistics (turnover, actions, hiring metrics).
• Maintain associate files in compliance with policies and law.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities with the HR administrative team.
• Oversee payroll administration, attendance, incentive programs, and leave documentation.
• Develop and deliver training for associates and supervisors.
• Provide employee relations support across all shifts.
