Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for our distribution center to support day-to-day HR operations, including recruiting coordination, onboarding, training compliance, payroll and timekeeping, and culture initiatives.

You will serve as the first point of contact for routine team member questions and partner with the HR Business Partner to escalate complex matters.

This role requires a mid-shift schedule and a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; experience in HR, recruiting or HR operations preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with HRIS, payroll or timekeeping systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own hourly recruiting and candidate pipeline management, including posting openings and scheduling interviews.
• Coordinate offers with hiring managers and HRBP; ensure approvals and documentation.
• Coordinate background checks and drug screens; track completion and escalate exceptions.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation, including I-9, benefits overview, and first-day readiness.
• Monitor staffing activity against goals and report gaps or risks.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity through timely entries and audits.
• Provide payroll and timekeeping support; route discrepancies to Payroll or HRBP.
• Respond to routine HR, policy, benefits, payroll and system questions.
