Lead Maintenance Supervisor - Distribution Center

Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. seeks an experienced maintenance leader to supervise all facilities maintenance functions at our distribution center. You will manage preventive programs, oversee equipment uptime, and guide a team of maintenance mechanics and technicians.

You will train staff, review schematics, and drive compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations, leveraging CMMS to track work orders and parts.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years maintenance experience in large distribution center and/or manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a large distribution center and/or manufacturing environment.
• Technically proficient in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Ability to review and critique schematic diagrams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CMMS.
• Knowledge of 5-S practices preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance of all operating equipment, and facility systems; ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
• Train and develop maintenance personnel; verify skill sets meet job requirements.
• Utilize CMMS to manage maintenance activities and data.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for construction projects affecting facility, property, and equipment.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and optimize supplier partnerships.
• Ensure contractual compliance for landscaping, pest control, snow removal, waste management, and fire system maintenance.
• Collaborate with safety committees to address on-site safety issues.
