Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills with high accuracy
• Experience with power ICs, MOSFETs, control loops and multi-phase buck systems
• Proficiency in Python or C; lab automation a plus
• Lab equipment ops: oscilloscopes, loads, function generators
• Experience with SIMPLIS and PSpice for modeling/simulation
• Advanced knowledge of DC/DC topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost, etc.
• Schematic capture and PCB design tools like OrCAD/Allegro/Cadence
• Knowledge of PMBus/AVSBus power management interfaces is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design-In support including power tree architecture and design-in activities
• Product definition and differentiation based on requirements
• Hardware review: schematic capture and PCB layout
• Simulation of power converter circuits for issue resolution
• Authoring technical docs like application notes and guidelines
• Provide training on product usage and DC-DC fundamentals to FAEs
• On-site and remote customer engineering support with root-cause analysis
• Conduct competitive market research to support marketing
• Develop system-level understanding for new product development
