FALCATA is seeking a Sr. Logistics Support Specialist in Washington, DC to manage logistics, inventory, and procurement activities in support of complex field operations. You will work onsite with leadership and engineers to ensure timely delivery of materials and compliance with government standards.

The role demands 10–15+ years in logistics and a DoD clearance; strong data analysis, communication, and adaptability are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience in logistics or related field.

• 10-15+ years of experience in logistics, inventory management, supply chain or procurement.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Data analysis, spreadsheet proficiency, and customer reporting experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with customers and peers.
• Ability to perform in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Willing to adapt and wear many hats, supporting technicians and engineers.
• DoD security clearance eligibility (TS/SCI).
• Capable of lifting/moving 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Logistics and material support to field teams and customers.
• Prepare, distribute and track materials and equipment going to field teams and customers.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving and transportation of materials to customer and project sites.
• Assist in planning for upcoming projects and needs to ensure materials are readily available.
• Monitor material movement, delivery status, and potential delays.
• Inventory management and record-keeping for equipment and components.
• Coordinate with suppliers to source materials from approved vendors and meet needs.
• Maintain documentation including packing slips, receipts and government records.
• Ensure compliance with government policies and standards.
• Collaborate with leadership and engineers to align logistics with mission requirements.
• Communicate procurement updates and delays to leadership and sponsors.
