Calibre CPA Group seeks an experienced Controller for a prominent International Labor Union headquartered in Washington, DC. The role leads the accounting team, ensures GAAP compliance, and safeguards assets across the union and affiliates in a complex multi-entity structure.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in nonprofit accounting, CPA certification, LM-2 experience, and proficiency with Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or MS Dynamics, plus advanced Excel skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration required; CPA certification required.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience; 3–5 years in a Controller or equivalent leadership role within a large, complex non‑profit organization.
• Extensive LM-2 preparation experience and strong knowledge of LMRDA regulations preferred; familiarity with Taft-Hartley training funds.
• Proficiency with enterprise-level accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred; NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, ethical, communicative, and collaborative leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for the International Union and affiliated entities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements.
• Present financial analysis, variance reports, and cash flow projections to leadership.
• Manage annual budgeting process with department heads and track expenditures.
