Calibre CPA Group seeks a Senior Nonprofit Controller to lead the organization’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. The role requires directing month-end close, budgeting, audit coordination, and tax compliance for nonprofit funding streams.

The ideal candidate will bring a CPA, at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, and proven leadership in nonprofit environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum 10 years in accounting with leadership in nonprofit or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Oversee accounting operations including GL, payables, receivables, payroll, reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close and financial reporting.
• Coordinate annual external audits and IRS Form 990 filings.
• Develop internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance for nonprofit funding.
• Collaborate with executives and department heads to support budgeting and strategic planning.
• Lead system improvements and implement financial processes.
