Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience in nonprofit or similar sector.
• CPA required; strong GAAP and nonprofit accounting knowledge.
• Experience leading accounting teams and external audits.
• Ability to implement financial systems and improve internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and reconciliations.
• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close with timely reporting.
• Prepare GAAP financial statements and nonprofit reporting.
• Coordinate audits and IRS Form 990 filings.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
