Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Distribution Center Project Associate Engineer to drive automation, facility, and capital initiatives across our distribution network.

You will partner with Operations, Facilities, Safety, Procurement, Finance, Technology, and vendors to deliver projects that improve productivity and readiness. In this role you will coordinate planning through handoff, manage schedules and budgets, support modernization efforts (RFID, print & apply, robotics), evaluate

Qualifications

• Bachelors in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years supporting engineering, automation, facility, capital, or CI projects in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or fulfillment.
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, project budgets, schedules, purchasing activities, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility, infrastructure, automation, and capital projects from planning through implementation and handoff.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, approvals, vendors, contractors, purchase orders, invoices, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Support distribution center modernization initiatives including automation, RFID, print & apply, material handling equipment, robotics, and other warehouse technologies.
• Assist with evaluation and implementation of automation solutions such as AS/RS, Goods-to-Person systems, sortation equipment, AMRs, and AGVs.
• Partner with Operations and Technology teams to support system integration, operational readiness, and successful project execution.
• Analyze operational performance and labor productivity to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support peak readiness activities, capital planning, and future network investments.
