Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Asset Protection professional to support the Asset Protection Manager in audits, investigations, and safety initiatives. The role emphasizes data integrity, shrink reduction, and regulatory compliance within the distribution/retail environment.

Responsibilities include leading audits, coordinating with security personnel, handling safety incident investigations, and assisting with the theft program to protect assets and ensure a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required; security/privacy protocols understood.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to track audits and metrics.
• Preference for LPC/LPQ certification and investigative experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist AP Manager with monthly audits to monitor shrink and safety compliance.
• Support regulatory investigations by OSHA, EPA, and other agencies.
• Oversee contracted site guards and ensure security systems operate properly.
• Lead audit processes and develop dynamic plans to mitigate exposures.
• Participate in safety incident investigations and staff training.
• Assist with theft program and external visitor investigations.
