Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Asset Protection professional to support the DC Asset Protection Manager. You will assist with audits, safety programs, investigations, and security system oversight to minimize shrink and risk.

You will train auditors, analyze data, and help implement safety initiatives across the facility. This role emphasizes vigilance, collaboration with leadership, and strong adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of work experience.
• Preferred: CCTV and digital recording devices; LPC/LPQ certification; strong communication; ability to collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Assist DC Asset Protection Manager with monthly audits to reduce shrink and ensure safety compliance.
• Support regulatory investigations (OSHA, EPA, state/federal) and incident investigations.
• Oversee security systems and contracted guards; ensure data integrity and performance metrics.
• Lead auditors, train and coach auditors; manage safety incident responses.
• Support floor observations and safe work practices; assist with shrink reduction.
