Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Area Manager to oversee warehouse operations and lead a team of Distribution Center Associates.

You will ensure shipping/receiving functions align with policies and drive safe, productive performance to get merchandise to stores on time. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years in a high-volume distribution environment, with strong leadership, data analysis, and coaching skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management) or combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze productivity, efficiency, and accuracy data to drive team performance.
• Lead and act as an ambassador for Core Values and foster an inclusive team environment.
• Drive cross-functional and interdepartmental projects and initiatives.
• Provide feedback and development to the team and receive feedback for oneself.
• Ensure ongoing training and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Utilize warehouse management systems and reporting tools to drive results.
