Qualifications

• Six months experience evaluating programs and services to identify problems and assess effectiveness.
• Six months experience interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Six months experience writing reports with structure: intro, thesis, evidence, analysis, conclusion or recommendations.
• Six months experience collecting data from multiple sources and maintaining records.
• Knowledge of descriptive statistics (mean, median, mode, standard deviation).

Responsibilities

• Assess DBE needs and provide technical guidance for participation in highway construction projects.
• Oversee compliance activities for the DBE program per 49 CFR Part 26.
• Assist in certification and pre-qualification processes.
• Provide technical assistance to DBEs, contractors, consultants and staff.
• Prepare and submit reports to FHWA and DelDOT as required.
