Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher education level.
• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program.
• Certified by BRPT as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
• Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS) and/or CPR.
• Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate tests, collect data.
• Prepare equipment, record activities, and analyze results.
• Follow polysomnographic procedures including electrodes, sensors, calibration, and airway mask fitting.
• Analyze clinical events (scoring) and tabulate data for review.
• Comply with safety regulations and laws.
